Litigation
As a veteran of New York City’s top litigation firms, and a former law clerk to a federal judge, Ben Klein has been trained to advocate tenaciously on behalf of his clients, whether through arbitration, mediation, negotiation, or trial. He has won multiple victories at trial, but more importantly, frequently helps his clients strategize their way to victory without the necessity of prolonged litigation, and before legal costs get out of hand. In the life of any company or individual, disputes present themselves – when they do, we’re here to help.
Aviation
The Klein Firm practices in all areas of aviation law, with a particular emphasis on representing companies in litigation proceedings related to aviation business transactions. In addition, we regularly represent pilots, mechanics, and air agencies in FAA enforcement proceedings and other regulatory matters, including Part 16 Complaints. Ben Klein, a pilot for over twenty years, is a frequent speaker at aviation law conferences, and is a passionate advocate on behalf of the industry and all things airplane.
Part 16 Complaints filed on behalf of aeronautical services providers, such as FBOs, Repair Stations, and Charter Operators can be an effective tool to ensure that airports are abiding by their grant assurance obligations. However, like other forms of litigation, they are often time consuming, always slow, and usually expensive.
